AiO

So, some words of caution first. I am not really into OSes; I just use them. I use Linux for servers and organizing our intranet but Windows for pretty much everything else. So I know: shame on me. My Linux boxes tend to be stripped down, command line operated; this very html file you are reading was written using vi. This said, let's start describing how I tested AiO on Linux:

I used a box running Fedora 10 / KDE (I like that combination, it keeps you on your toes. So this one is with full graphical interface). Installed VMWare and therein I ran my test system as a virtual machine.
Installed Fedora 14 with Gnome under VMWare
Used Yum to install Wine, did not use the "winetricks" set
Copyed the normal Downloader you get for AiO into the "C" drive of Wine and ran it
Installed Mozilla for Windows and Acrobat Reader 9 for XP under Wine
AiO ran on the vritual Fedora 14 box, connected to the right internet pages and the Handbook was opened using Acrobat.

So I didn't try to connect AiO to the programs of an established, running Linux OS. My test version was clean and only created for this one purpose. I just wanted to know if it was possible.
So you know; the usual "no Warranty" for anything, but this time to the xth power!
